Jitterbug Flip’s Plans and Pricing
The Jitterbug Flip doesn’t use long-term contracts. All plans are paid for monthly. Subscribers can keep their current number if it’s still available when they request a transfer. There are also no cancellation fees when they want to end their service.
The Jitterbug Flip normally sells for $99 but can be available at a Best Buy outlet for as little as $49.99.
While each of the Jitterbug Flip’s Health and Safety Packages offers the 5Star Urgent Response service, subscribers can add other features when they choose a higher level.
- The Basic package costs $19.95 a month and includes 5Star Urgent Response and Brain Games, which are designed for mental exercise.
- The Premier package also includes Urgent Care and GreatCall Link and costs $24.99 a month.
- The Ultimate package includes all the above features as well as a connection to a personal operator. It costs $34.99 a month.
Talk and text packages add an extra cost, but the subscriber receives a discount when they sign up for any Health and Safety Package. If they’re only interested in using the Jitterbug as an easy-to-use phone and not as a medical alert device, they will pay more for these services.
For instance, when they choose any Health and Safety Package, 1,500 minutes of call time is $15, and it’s only $5 more for 1,000 texts. Without a Health and Safety Package, the user pays $20 for 1,000 minutes of talk time and another $5 for 1,000 texts. Costs can be more or less depending on how much each feature is used.
With the Ultimate Package, 1,500 minutes of call time and 1,000 texts would be $54.99 monthly.
